Job Description As a Security Professional - Government Patrol in Cary, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role does not require driving or carrying a weapon. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.59 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within government locations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of government facilities. Working environments and conditions may vary by site. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Applicants must be able to ride a bike. Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
