SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Assemblers!

Job Title : Operator I - Assembler
Job Location: Plano, TX, U.S.A. 75038
Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: $18.25/Hr.
Shift Structure:
●       ONSITE
●       Mon - Thurs/ 6am - 4:30pm [4/10] OR Mon - Fri/ 6am - 2:30pm [5/8]
●       40 hours per week

 
The role of the Assembler:
●       This position is responsible for the production of high quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
●       Working under close supervision, may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.
●       Performs routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures.
●       Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
●       Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form.

 
About the Assembler:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 
●       High School diploma or equivalent
●       Previous experience in assembly, preferably in the medical device industry.
●       Experience working in a clean room environment is a plus.
●       Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
●       Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
●       Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
●       Knowledgeable in relevant computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
