Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Install, test, and train EDI 204, 990, 997, 214, 210, 322, and 824 transaction sets for the company's largest strategic accounts. Work with internal teams, customers, and trading partners through the project lifecycle to answer questions, make recommendations, test, and provide EDI Support. Consult with internal and external customers to discuss and resolve deficiencies, discuss possible modifications, and train on enhancements to the EDI application and EDI interfaces. Assist with installation of EDI for new project rollouts, upgrades, and new releases to EDI software. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI application issues escalated from customer support and other departments. Ability to understand and troubleshoot the following forms of Communication: VAN, FTP, SFTP, and AS2. Assist internal EDI groups with EDI installs, testing, and training. Review EDI log files, transaction reports, and recovery entries via database tools to resolve any outstanding errors and identify both internal and external training opportunities. Train new hires on processes and procedures. Train customers and business prospects at the Annual Users Conference. Occasional Travel to train Customers onsite. Work with customers to obtain specifications and requirements for modifications or product enhancements to be used by the EDI Programmers for new transaction sets or existing transaction sets in compliance with SDLC. Competencies: At least one year of experience providing customers with technical (hardware, software) support At least one year of experience working with customer orders, shipment statuses, and invoices Experience with Windows OS Experience training customers or end users in the use of software Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write communications and documentation grammatically correct for routine business correspondence. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and application software support. Certificates and Licenses: None.
