Airport Operations General Manager (Customer Service Focused) Join to apply for the Airport Operations General Manager (Customer Service Focused) role at GAT Airline Ground Support . Job Summary The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or hotel management, with experience in a cleaning department considered an asset. This leader will oversee Cabin Cleaning and concierge services for a luxury aircraft company in Van Nuys, California. Customer service skills and the ability to recognize customer needs are essential. Responsibilities Conduct monthly safety meetings for all employees. Manage all operational activities and multiple carrier contracts. Conduct flight, station, and behavior audits. Participate in safety conference calls and ensure safety policies are communicated effectively. Oversee staffing, recruitment, and compliance with regulatory agencies. Investigate incidents, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure proper documentation. Coordinate operational supplies and monitor payroll within budget. Conduct meetings with staff and ensure facility and uniform standards are maintained. Review operational reports and respond to concerns from supervisory personnel. Attend airport meetings and perform routine visits to authorities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in hotel or hospitality management. 5+ years managing teams with financial responsibilities. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to adapt schedule to meet client and operational needs. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $65,000 - $70,000 per year. Salary, bonus, benefits, and 401K included. Additional Details Position is full-time at the director level, within the management and aviation industries.
